'Monday' - Breaky At Dad's
{40cm x 50cm canvas / Pine timber floating frame / Painted with acrylic paints}
‘Monday’ From my Breaky At Dad’s series. Original painting depicting my breakfast table growing up. My dad always hated cooking, but he did his best, which usually meant, super rushed and basic set ups- eggs with cold baked beans (yum). The navy, torn cap featured was the one dad would wear everyday while he slashed the paddock on his tractor. It always smelt of cut lantana and he would usually plonk it on the clean table next to us while we were eating.
